Video Explorer 2 Video Card
The Video Explorer 2 sets a new standard for high-end digital video production. Custom integrated circuits help give the Video Explorer 2 board the ability to add video processing to standard framebuffer and codec capabilities. The board handles multiple timing standards and pixel samplings from the 16-bit 4:2:2 sampling to 64-bit 4:4:4:4 sampling. The Video Explorer2 also can be expanded to handle HD television standards.
The Video Explorer 2 board is an advanced video-processing card for Windows/NT and Macintosh computers. The board is designed with Intelligent Paradigm's video processing chips which allows a wider range of high quality video processing than previously possible, and at a lower cost than previously possible.
The board uses the PCI bus for communications between the host processor and the configurable items on the board as well as for host access to the framebuffer. The host computer configures the board for timing standards, routing, and processing control. |
